Mind - Programme Manager (Active Monitoring)

Salary: £40,457 – 46,359
London weighting: £44,044 – 49,836
Location: Stratford or Cardiff /Hybrid
Minimum of 2 days a week in the office in Stratford, London or Cardiff
Homeworking is also an option, travelling to the office once a month
Flexible working will be considered
Travel will be required Once a month to either of the Mind HQ’s or partner sites

Mind is a mental health charity that exists to ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Mind’s 2021-24 strategy sets the direction for their work for the long-term, and specific ambitions for the next three years. Minds strategic development priority areas are:
- Becoming a truly anti-racist organisation
- Supporting young people – with a focus on trauma
- Fighting for the mental health of people in poverty

Purpose and Scope of the role
For this role, you will be joining at an exciting time to continue the development and delivery of programmes with local Mind partners to ensure people have access to high quality mental health service.
Mind are experiencing many firsts in terms of the services they can offer such as working as a whole organisation within the federation to offer a triage service, with the ability to signpost more efficiently, introduction of a case management system and all services working collaboratively.
Being based in the newly established (2021) Networks and Communities Directorate, which plays a crucial role in Mind has a crucial role in enabling Mind to reach more people, increase their influence and affect long-lasting change in all communities across England and Wales.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Project management skills, with experience of leading and managing complex, cross organisational projects with a focus on organisational development and innovation
- Experience of engagement with stakeholders with divergent experiences and perspectives at all levels across an organisation
- Experience of developing and managing partner relationships
- Proven ability of to negotiate, influence and manage difficult conversations
- Demonstrable experience of leading and managing teams
- Budget management experience
