As the Head of Brand Content and Digital Engagement, you will have strategic responsibility and accountability for Mind’s brand, our content strategy and our digital engagement.
Salary:
- from £56,371 (regional salary)
- from £58,109 (including London Weighting)
Location: Stratford, London or Cardiff office (Hybrid working with 2 days in the Office)

We're Mind, the mental health charity. We're here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

About the Role
Mind are looking for a Head of Brand Content and Digital Engagement to join their Strategic Communications and Marketing Team. This is a new, exciting role and pivotal to supporting us to realise these ambitions. You will provide powerful senior communications leadership and drive innovation by bringing together all of our content, production and digital engagement to further elevate ‘brand Mind’.
As the Head of Brand Content and Digital Engagement, you will have strategic responsibility and accountability for Mind’s brand, our content strategy and our digital engagement. You will also be responsible for driving forward a new era in how we deliver our brand, you’ll drive a step change in how we tell our brand story and create compelling on and offline content. You will lead the creation and implementation of a centralised content strategy, directing how we tell the Mind’s story through producing brilliant content which places lived experience stories and impact at the heart.

About You
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
- Experience in successfully leading a brand and corporate identity in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, goals and regional contexts.
- A track record of leading the development and delivery of high profile, impactful and measurable content and production from start to finish, including evaluation and seeking value for money from agencies.
- A track record in leading digital engagement strategies and teams.
- Experience in building and leading thriving communications teams, including strong line management experience.
- Experience in leading complex, high profile change and transformation with demonstrable qualities as a lead change agent.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills with confidence in making strategic and operational decisions, and the ability to find creative and innovative solutions to deliver a positive step change.
- Experience in positively influencing at all levels (internally and external) for change and contributing to corporate and cross organisational business strategy.
- Powerful communication skills, with proven track record of delivering highly impactful communications strategies across a range of stakeholders, influencing and collaborating with all levels (internally and external).
- Experience in leading sensitive communications, placing safeguarding and stakeholder need at the centre.
- A connection to Mind’s aims and values, including an understanding of and commitment to anti-racism, equality and diversity.
