Salary: Up to £75,000pa
Location: Nottingham (Office based with hybrid working arrangements)
We are one of the largest students’ unions in the country, connecting our brilliant, diverse, ambitious community of 37,000 student members to share, support and inspire each other while at university.
As a registered charity, we act as the recognised representative body of all students at the university, providing a range of activities, events, campaigning, commercial and professional services all for the benefit of students.
We are independent from the university, and we aspire to be the beating heart of student life-from first-year undergraduates to research students, elected student Officers and staff, to volunteers, pioneers, and so much more. We are getting involved, making change and supporting each other, making student life at the University of Nottingham the very best it can be.
We support students to voice their views on academic life and their wider university experience, utilising our strong student leadership through fifteen full and part time elected student representatives and championing the voices and lived experiences of our diverse members; particularly those from marginalised and under-represented backgrounds.
We're looking for a new CEO to be a leader committed to enhancing the student experience and who is passionate about UoNSU’s mission, values and culture, to lead the organisation by developing and delivering the Union’s strategy to provide an outstanding student experience, based on strong and sustainable finances, capable engaged staff and sound governance.
You'll be taking a lead role on Union Strategy; Student and Staff leadership; Union Development; Union Sustainability; and Customer Services, whilst always embodying UoNSU’s values.
