Position: Strategic Partnerships Manager
Reporting to: Head of Events for London
Salary: £63,112 per annum
Location:
The Events for London team are anchored at London’s City Hall in the Royal Docks, but we also have offices at Union Street, Southwark.
Hybrid - we usually work two days in the office and three from home. Mondays at Union Street and Wednesdays at City Hall.

About the Role
The Mayor of London prioritises major events as key components of the city's calendar. The Events for London team is now seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to secure and oversee sponsorship and partnership contracts for the Mayor's Event Programme.
This role extends beyond revenue targets to encompass strategic partnerships, collaborations, and innovative ventures. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead the assessment and cultivation of partnerships that align with our strategic objectives and operational needs, driving sustainable growth.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you have the skills, capability, knowledge or track record in:
- Sponsorship/PR/partnerships management in a high-profile environment
- Relationship-building and influencing skills, especially with senior leaders
- Existing contacts, networks and relationships with corporate brands and media partners
- Presenting, pitching and selling skills to effectively convey ideas, negotiate with, and influence stakeholders
