Head of People & Culture - Mind
The Head of People will lead the development of the People Strategy. They will also be the principal operational lead on the delivery of all aspects of the People Strategy.
Salary: £61,595 - £68,139 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Location: A hybrid mix of homeworking and at least 2 days per week in Stratford or Cardiff office

We're Mind, the mental health charity. We're here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We also campaign to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding.
Over the last few years we've come a long way. But there's still more to be done. The focus of our strategy is on supporting the people disproportionately affected by mental health issues. People from racialised communities, young people, and people living in poverty.

About the role
As the Head of People & Culture will be accountable for leading an efficient and effective People Team. They will be a role model for excellence and inspire those they lead to deliver best-practice support to managers and staff. They will also be Mind’s subject matter expert, responsible for all aspects of casework including leading Tribunal cases.
In collaboration with Directors, and the Associate Director of People, Equity & Culture, the Head of People will lead the development of the People Strategy. They will also be the principal operational lead on the delivery of all aspects of the People Strategy.
The Head of People will be accountable for all policy development work and will ensure they keep abreast of statutory changes at all times. They will ensure Mind is an employer of choice and that all employee relations cases are managed within legal best practices.
You will lead a team of approximately 6 staff members and have 3 direct reports.
About you
If you have a proven track record of leadership in the field of human resources and demonstrable experience in developing people strategies, handling employee relations casework, ideally with expertise in leading tribunal cases, policy development, and staff well-being & cultural development, we would love to hear from you.
