About the role
Thanks to investment in the team, and an internal promotion, we have 4 Senior Fundraising Officer roles available within the Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory team, including this role. As a Senior Fundraising Officer, you'll be insight led, curious about getting to know your audiences, and responsible for delivering fundraising activity in a test and learn approach, to continuously improve everything you do. You'll work with peers across the team, and key internal & external stakeholders to build strong relationships and bringing teams together to deliver the best for Mind's supporters and beneficiaries.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager in your team, you’ll be empowered to manage a portfolio of fundraising activities in a supportive environment, achieving your targets, managing your budget lines and working with your manager to contribute to longer-term income growth plans.
Alongside your day-to-day duties, you will line manage one Fundraising Officer upskilling, trusting and empowering them to deliver activities, key tasks and excellent supporter experience. You will be supported to develop your leadership skills and manage their performance to ensure objectives are met.
You'll be joining a team of friendly and passionate fundraisers, and you’ll be supported to develop your skills and personal development plans in a wellbeing focused environment.
- You are a strong communicator, able to convey your vision, goals, ideas and issues to team members and stakeholders
- You are able to form strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- You are a confident manager who can oversee and coordinate tasks as well as motivate and encourage the team
- You have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- You are comfortable creating project timelines and holding others to account in meeting deadlines
- You are adaptable, flexible, and open to doing things differently
- You have decision-making abilities that benefit long term goals
