The Mayor of London is looking for a Deputy Head of Digital Communications to join our Digital Communications team at City Hall, London.
If you’re a experienced team manager with excellent social media and email expertise, we want to hear from you.
The ideal person will:
Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practice in digital communications, including multichannel organic and paid social as well as email
Have excellent judgement for communications, particularly in a political environment
Be data-led, user-centric and able to think strategically
Be highly creative and excited by integrated work across departments
Be an inclusive leader committed to taking meaningful action for diversity and equality
Have experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
Be confident managing budgets
Be resilient and excited by the idea of working in a fast-paced organisation
Keep up to date with politics and current affairs
Want to make London the best possible city it can be
This role will be based at City Hall, in the Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
