An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new role that will provide crucial support to all the Mayor’s work tackling health inequalities and supporting the health and wellbeing of Londoners.
We are looking for a high performer to take over running our programme management office for the GLA’s newly restructured Health and Wellbeing Team. We are a friendly, welcoming team and this is an exciting time to join us.
This role will have a particular focus on programme management of delivery of the London Recovery Board’s Health Missions & health inequalities, and also working in an agile way across the team’s whole policy portfolio.
The job will involve project oversight and forward planning for the whole Health and Wellbeing Team’s corporate responsibilities, including corporate performance reporting and other corporate returns and briefings, working closely with the Head of Health.
Do you have strong project and programme management skills and a passion for working with a wide range of colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of health policy and interventions? Are you able to manage multiple complex and fast-moving projects and demands, with a strong track record of delivering results on target and within budget? Are you organised and have a strong attention to detail? Do you enjoy working with people and delivering results? If yes, then this is the role for you!
This role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s Head Office (Union Street SE1 0LL). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
