An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community & Events Fundraising team supporting in the delivery of raising money through active challenge events and community sources.

The Challenge Events Officer will play a vital role within the Community and Events team, working alongside the team to deliver the active challenge portfolio. This will include managing a broad range of pivotal fundraising events for the charity including London Marathon, Royal Parks Half Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon as well as own place challengers.

The role will also support on flagship campaign World AIDS Day including working on various fundraising active challenges within the community whilst supporting the development of new challenge events and products.

Whilst working within the team and across the wider organisation, the Challenge Events Officer will be working with supporters ensuring excellent standards of customer care are demonstrated throughout.

There is opportunity for progression within this role as we’re looking for someone to start immediately with full training provided to deliver our Summer/Autumn events with the option to continue the role over a maternity contract, with an opportunity to apply for the permanent role in September 2023. This is a great role for someone with an interest in challenge events, who is diligent and able to manage a busy workload and wants to try the role in practice before taking on a contract/applying for a permanent positon.
